A Design Forward Celebration.

As Style Me Pretty quotes: there are so many thoughtful details, we could talk about them for an entire day. As a womenswear designer, this client designed her own gown, including specially sourcing vintage Valentino lace for her bodice.

The bride and groom were on the same page from day one. They wanted an intimate affair that was incredibly personalized, aesthetically beautiful. Most importantly, the day was to celebrate their relationship and include all of their loved ones.

Using the Gramercy Park Hotel rooftop in NYC as inspiration, we created a reception garden-esque vibe complete with a wrought iron chandelier, gold accents and custom fabric draping.

A hip-hop violinist, whose signature style is “let the strings fly” added to the day’s vibe. Design elements down to the ceremony and reception chairs were part of the focus. The bride found a photo of the perfect fit. These chairs were then tracked to California from the photo and sourced by a supplier in New Jersey. The chairs were transported to Bristol, Rhode Island the morning of the wedding.

Other fabulous details included a complete custom invitation suite with custom monogram, and a scavenger hunt through town with spiked hot apple cider during formal photos. The pièce de résistance: a secret dessert room revealed after dinner. The details are endless and the day was timeless.
